My Work at

Blekinge Institute of Technology

My experience from BTH

Studying at Blekinge Institute of Technology is what gave me a good base for becoming a good technical artist. There I learned a lot of areas in game development. I learned how to rig, how to animate, how to code a 3D engine, and so much more. The most precious experience I got from BTH was working with smaller groups and creating games. We had two game projects: one small( group of 5) and one big (group of 10). In both game projects, my main focus was creating particles from scratch, building the render passes, the billboarding, and the fun moves with compute shaders.

My reserch "Queerness in Games"

My research paper, "Queerness in Games", was a big passion project for me. With the focus being on the queer and gaming communities, both gamers and developers. How being a queer indie game developer has brought a lot of innovative games, but also how hard it can be to be part of a minority group in the gaming community. GamerGate really shows that women, queer gamers, and indie developers have had to go through a lot, but I also think it shows how important they are to the gaming community and proves we need more.
